This year (October 2009) METU Computer Engineering Department attended ACM regional programming contest with two teams. The contest was hosted by Polytechnical Univesity of Bucarest, Romania. In ACM ICPC, contestants compete in teams of three, aiming to develop and code algorithms for as many questions as possible in a limited amount of time.

Members of METU teams were as follows:

• TR1: Mert Degirmenci, Seckin Can Sahin, Kaan Soral
• TR2: Shatlyk Ashyralyev, Muhammet Orazov, Serkan Sakar
